Urgent Member Alert: Phishing Scam in Circulation
We have been notified of a fraudulent scam targeting credit union members. Fraudsters are sending messages claiming you are entitled to a €1,500 energy grant.
How the scam works:
You may receive a text with a link asking for PIN numbers or online banking credentials.
Shortly after, a call may follow pretending to be from your credit union, asking for OTPs or verification codes.
These attempts are designed to steal your personal and banking information.
Protect Yourself:
Do not click links or provide your PIN, login credentials, or OTPs.
Never share OTPs with anyone.
Contact your credit union immediately if you receive suspicious messages or calls.
Remember: Credit union staff will never ask for full PINs or online banking passwords.
