Welcome Firhouse Credit Union Members
On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and Staff we wish to welcome all members of Firhouse Credit Union to Tallaght & District Credit Union.
You can continue to avail of all existing services from your Credit Union, along with additional services offered by Tallaght & District Credit Union.

As the transfer progresses over the next few days, we have some important updates for Firhouse members.
- The Firhouse Credit Union website will be redirected to www.tallaghtdistrictcu.ie from 1pm on Friday the 16th of May.
- Firhouse members will have full access to Tallaght & District Credit Union's website by 7pm on Tuesday 20th May.
- Firhouse members must download the Tallaght & District Credit Union APP, available on Google Play and the App Store. You will be able to log in with your existing Member Number and PIN.
- The Firhouse office will remain closed until 9.30am on Thursday 22nd May.
1. Member Number: Your existing member number will change by adding 100,000 to the number, for example if your current member number is 12345, your new member number will be 112345.
2. Firhouse Branch opening hours: There is no change to existing opening hours, but you now have access to two branches operating different hours across 6 days. The opening hours of our branches are available at www.tallaghtdistrictcu.ie.
3. Existing Loans and Savings: Your loan and savings balances will be transferred to Tallaght & District Credit Union on the 16th May 2025. Your existing loan with Firhouse Credit Union will remain in place, subject to its current terms and conditions. You can continue to pay your loan as normal.
The free loan protection cover on your loan remains but the amount of free life savings cover on your shares will increase to €12,700. A maximum savings limit of €35,000 now applies.
4. Online Banking: You can now apply for free Online Banking at www.tallaghtdistrictcu.ie. The Tallaght & District Credit Union APP can be downloaded on Google Player and the App Store. You will be able to log in with your new Member Number (add 100,000) and existing PIN.
5. Identification: The Credit Union is required to keep up-to-date photo ID and proof of address on file for all our members as required under the Criminal Justice Act 2010 (Section 33). We would appreciate if you could call into any of our branches at your earliest convenience with your photo ID and proof of address, where we will update your account details for you.

In exceptional circumstances, if you are unable to provide a suitable form of ID or Proof of address, please contact Tallaght & District Credit Union and we can further advise.
6. Payment Options: You can make cash, cheque, and debit card payments in any of our branches. As a member of Tallaght & District Credit Union, you will keep your existing unique BIC and IBAN which enables you to transfer funds directly to your Credit Union account.
You may also have your wages or social welfare payments made directly to your account.
7. Loan Products: As a member you have access to a wide range of loan options to suit your needs whether it's for home improvements or buying an eco-friendly car. Borrow up to €100,000!
